Oh please.
I never guaranteed shite about Milton was just very excited about him after his orange bowl performance because quite frankly i figured he would have shite his pants that game and done terribly without hyatt and Tilman.
Anyone else would have felt the same after seeing Heupel turn Hooker around.
It was a decent bet to say the least. At the end of the day these are kids and you never 100 percent know how they will react to new systems and coaches.
And Milton while not great by any means is playing much better overall these past two games.

You were hyping him as a Heisman candidate.

If he played every game like he did in the orange bowl, he would be. He's very inconsistent and unpredictable though and i didn't consider that fact enough before hyping him and thought he had really turned a corner. Milton 's problems are not physical. They are mental.

You have to be careful with bowl games in this era.
Many players opt out and you are not seeing the full strength of every team unless its the playoff.
More times than not, we are not getting a true gauge on anything from a bowl.

This is 100 percent true unfortunately it seems.
CFB fans might as well just fully embrace an expanded playoff system unfortunately.
The sport has changed a lot even in just the past two decades.

For sure, I miss the days when winning a major bowl was cause for great excitement.
Now they are truly just exhibition games designed to make rich people even richer.

Bowl games are part of what made CfB so special.
I remember when it actually mean't you had a decent team making one.
Now it's like a participation trophy or something.
