Delusional ND fan.

UGA would have crushed ND the same way Bama did

It would have been a good game for the first quarter. Maybe

Absolutely not. Zero chance UGA would have performed the way Bama did.

Not saying they wouldn't have won.

Very retarded statement.

This is why the ND Fanbase is the worst.

ND peeps still think it was due to Teo having a fake GF or that ND had a "bad game"

No, it's because Bama's really freaking good and Saban is absolutely incredible with a lot of time. I'm giving all the credit to ALABAMA. Not the SEC. Not Georgia. I'm assuming you're an LSU fan, because you're on this site and have "Tiger" in your name. You should know first hand how different Alabama can be when Saban has a lot of time versus when he has only a week. Look at Jan. 9, 2012. The SEC Champion got obliterated by Bama in the national championship (Bama actually outgained you guys by more than they did us. They outgained you 384-92 [292] and outgained us 529-302 [227]) and you even BEAT THEM earlier in the year.

In an NCG scenario, an Alabama team that has five weeks to prepare under Nick Saban and seniors playing in their third national championship (and every non-freshman playing in at least his second) is a MUCH tougher opponent than a UGA team with zero NCG experience. That's my point. Sorry if that flew over your head.

I don't understand his reason for wanting to play Georgia to get that Atlanta area talent, as They play Georgia Tech fairly regular it seems.

Look at my post above. Irish are 0-1 vs UGA so they probably think they can win and get even with another SEC school.

Cheese Grits, I trust your opinion.

Is this thread worth me reading all 7 pages?

Not unless you have time to waste and are bored.

Basically much to do about nothing as Notre Dame will not be playing the Dawgs and seems to just be posturing. Then it got into a who would beat the Irish worse, Bama or UGA.

It must be the lack of Run D. Both UGA and ND were raped in that dept when they played Bama.

Without reading the thread, has anyone pointed out that ND would have finished no better than fourth in the SEC east and fifth in the SEC west last year?

If Nick Saban left his starters in and ran regular play calls....that game would've easily been like....63-0

Oh, I wish Saban had!

Everytime Notre Dame screwed up (which was often) and Alabama broke a big play (Which also was often) I screamed "The IIIIII-rish" at the televeison set and laughed!

Arkansas : never played
Auburn : never played
Florida : 1-0-0 : PF 39 / PA 28 : Irish beat Gators in 92 Sugar Bowl
Georgia : 0-1-0 : PF 10 / PA 17 : Dawgs beat Irish in 81 Sugar Bowl
Kentucky : never played
LSU : 5-5-0 : PF 180 / PA 200 : 2 bowl games and 8 home and home games
Ole Miss : 1-1-0 : PF 50 / PA 34 : 2 home and home games
MS State : never played
Missouri : 2-2-0 : PF 66 / PA 54 : 4 home and home games
South Carolina : 3-1-0 : PF 93 / PA 65 : 4 home and home games
Tennessee : 4-4-0 : 207 PF / 218 PA : 4 home and home games
Texas A&M : 3-2-0 : 89 PF / 93 PA : 3 bowl games and 2 home and home games
Vanderbilt : 2-0-0 : 55 PF / 7 PA : 2 home and home games

Niiice...but the problem with this is...it goes all the way back to the Notre Dame glory days. Take the last 20 years and see what you come up with.

I know my biggest problem with notre Dame is the media, pollsters, and yes, Notre Dame themselves act as if they have won the last 7 National Titles. They will be in the top 20 with the largest number of losses, for instance. When the beat Navy everybody screams "They're back!"

Notre Dame IS a joke and has been for 20 years or more...might be even 30 years, yet the Media jumps on their bandwagon every year. I absolutely hate the for that.

Neither ND or UGA are relevant. When was the last time either won a meaningful game on a national level?

And this meannsssssss what exactly? Richt took Alabama down to the wire. You know, the same Alabama that totally humiliated the IIIIIIIII-rish?

So, tell us, oh wise one...why did Notre Dame decide to join the ACC? For the prestige?
