Every team will have players from other states. It’s inevitable. I get what that dude was saying though; like there’s a difference between going out and paying teenagers more money than the average NFL salary, vs. a kid from out of state coming to play bc he likes the coach or the facilities, etc…

That dwarfs the average of $4 million in MLB, and $7.1 million average for NBA players. To an 18 year old kid… so technically a good highschool career is worth 9 million? That’s a dangerous precedent A&M is flirting with…
Also not to mention, albeit the NCAA said it will leave punishment up to the state; this is still totally illegal… the Texas NIL laws specifically say it’s illegal and use exactly what A&M is doing as an example.
