I wouldn’t say Mickey Joseph is a failure

He wouldn't have been replaced as WR coach if we was a success. He's an amazing recruiter and is a vital part of the staff in his current role. But, the point still stands that he failed in his previous role.

I will say is missing on coach hires is infinitely less clown like than retaining them when they don’t work

Of course, but only really McMahon and Brady have been O hires that have worked. I think the jury is still out on Cregg. We aren't getting top lineman and we're ranked in the 70s last year in sacks and pressures. If it wasn't for Clyde and Burrow's mobility along with pre-snap read by Burrow that line wouldn't have looked very good.

This means that LSU should have had a GREAT year, then... right?

Oh, wait, never mind. LSU had to squeeze out last minute wins against Flawrduh and Ole Piss just to even REACH .500 on the year, and STILL didn't reach the CFP threshold six win mark.

So many people on this board are so busy trying to talk shite and get people with these "gotcha" posts that don't even think through what they're posting.

SL should have never been hired to begin with.

We’re LSU. It’s been proven the HC doesn’t matter all that much I mean come on Les Miles and Ed O won nattys. Overpaying for a coach to win an orange bowl isn’t ideal. Enjoy yalls dream season. Ours was last year and it got us a title & heisman.

A&M just getting started. Thanks, but no thanks. I'd quit donating to the athletic department overnight and demand a refund if we hired an ape like Orgeron

What tells you Jimbo is a better coach than O?

Don't avoid the question, just list your reasons.

I realize why you want to focus on the first part of the post, but the real emphasis is the 2nd part.

Developed the pick machine Winston into a NC winning QB. Gene? Had to get a Urban Meyer developed QB and a NFL QB coach to finally get over the hump. Those 2 left? Immediately cratered. Jimbo at least posted a winning season the next year. Good enough?

Are LSU fans confident O is going to make solid hires this time?

He's made a few good ones already. Winning a title did not reduce his ability to make more.

Burrow was infinitely better after a year at LSU and changed his throwing motion while he was here too.

You think Ensminger is an NFL QB coach?

1. Fisher speaks coherently
2. Fisher has a proven system. It works, and you are seeing the results
3. Fisher is respected by his players and former players
4. Fisher has built A&M the right way from the trenches out

The long and short of it is that before Fisher, A&M had the occasional good player but very little depth. Especially in the trenches. Now we have an SEC-quality DL, OL, and are working on the rest. I expect Fisher's winning ways to continue. Takes a bit of luck to win a MNC, but if we continue to play solid football and be consistently ranked in the T10 - who knows. Eventually everyone will have to acknowledge we aren't going away

Brady. 29-0 before him. Any questions?

I don't have any questions at all. I know the facts. Brady was the WR coach and designed the offense. Ensminger is the QB coach and worked with Burrow to tighten up his off arm when he threw and his completion percentage went up 20 points. As usual you are uniformed.

If anything, you're 29-0 shite talking just proves that Burrow wasn't developed when he got to LSU.

Or maybe, just maybe, the design of the offense was shite and then Brady fixed that.

Nah, that makes way too much sense.

It's true that this is Brady's offense. E was just the "face", and he doesn't want to do it anymore. Hates dealing with Orgeron and his rages. Wants to retire, but LSU is trying to get him to stay on staff in some capacity

His throwing motion had nothing to do with it, huh? And we're just gonna gloss over the fact that you thought that Brady was the QB coach. I pick on you about being stupid, but you should really stop trying to talk shite about things you are so uninformed on. It makes it even look worse when you try to talk your way out of being wrong. I think you can do better.
