No, the LSU defense led by a DC that is no longer there got JJ to the BCSCG. Les was invited because he is the HC. Once Les got to the game he figured he work his magic and implement his own game plan.

They both had about as much experience as a starter as Harris did last year.

I remember watching an LSU game this season and he was 3-14 at one time with only 1 completion to a WR... That's really shitty... frick numbers and QBR and release points and footwork... When you're 3-14 with only 1 completion to a WR in a conference game you're a pathetic excuse for a quarterback.

I'm pretty sure Jefferson was the QB in the national championship. Hence, Les Miles got an arguably lesser QB to the NC. So did the defense scored 35 points per game to get them there?
