Instead of scanning the posts for statistical inaccuracies why don't you provide a productive response to what I was asking, because I'm curious as to what people think.
QB or coaching?
QB or coaching?

Harris wasn't even that bad last season, though he was woefully inconsistent.
I'm buying, I guess. He has the tools and the players around him.
Agree with those who have said the OL will be the key. Pass protection has been an issue dating back a few years.

Lsu would take Trevor knight in a heartbeat if they could

I dont think he is as bad as he appears to be. With the right coaching and play calling, i think he could be very effective. I am always amazed at how "terrible" the LSU coaching staff makes him look. Cameron is the problem in my opinion, and that falls back on Les. I do think he will have a much better year this year, LSU should be really good.

Wouldn't count on it again with Knight either.

That's because you can't count

Sell. LSU hasn't had solid QB since Mett.

LSU and Auburn both wanted Trevor Knight to be their QB, but he opted to stay closer to home.

No thanks. He's already proven to be a shite QB.

actually JJ might be the only QB to beat saban and bama twice.

You've read the LSU recruiting board threads. A good % of your posters wanted him. And if Knight wanted to be at LSU he would be there right now.

Even JJ needed help, who was the white kid who came in and made crutial throws in 2010?

If he doesn't, many feel that Danny Etling can actually step right in and run the team. The passing game will probably even improve with Etling.
No they don't. No one thinks this. Want to know why other fan bases think LSU fans are all unintelligent idiots from the bayou? It's statements like this
quote:
BUY! I honestly love Danny Etling and I think he could be a much better QB than Harris. No offense to Harris, I like him but Etling is bigger, smarter and has a cannon for an arm as well, just like Harris. I think when we look back we will regret not playing Etling
You love Etling? He has a cannon for an arm? Did you come to this conclusion by watching a lot of 11am Big Ten games in 2013 and 2014? Did you miss all the balls he lobbed in the spring game? This is how good Etling is. After finishing 3rd in an open QB competition in '13 the players in front of him were hurt and he finished the year 0-7 as a starter. He was so good in '14 he lost his starting position after 5 games to Austin Appleby (who is awful btw and has never had a season where he threw more TD's than int's) and never played another snap. This all happened at PURDUE. You guys are embarrassing

Bought! We're going to be looking at a 2010/11/12 type defense this season fwiw. An offense that averages 400+ yards and 30+ ppg with this kind of defense is a title contender. This LSU team will win by a lot of wide margins; very similar in that regard to 2011.
