When the best thing you can brag about is winning a regular season basketball game...you might be a Missouri fan
Seriously, are you guys ever going to accomplish anything significant? You should never bring up your basketball program because you should be ashamed of it, yet you boast about it like it's Kentucky or something. Are y'all worth a shite at anything?

You all haven't been to the tournament since 2008. And haven't been to the Sweet 16 since 1996. If you want to use what happened 20 years ago, you'll win every argument. But Scotty Thurman's not walking through that door. And CMA is not Nolan Richardson.

The coach that achieved your ceiling left you for Arkansas. I guess history matters to everyone except schools that have none to speak of. We'll be back eventually

That's why I like Mizzou fans, their fan base is known for supporting their basketball team even if they haven't been to a Final 4. Hate people that only support programs because they are historically good, have banners, won championships, etc. Bandwagon fans.

Sure. History matters. And Mizzou basketball has plenty of history. We do wish we had FF appearances, let alone a National Championship. But it's idiocy to say a program is horrible because it's never achieved those.
And there's no guarantee you'll be back. I'm sure somewhere there's University of San Francisco Don's fans posting the same thing.

Sure. Talk all you want. It was a horrible matchup for us. And we played like crap. A horrible ending to a 30-win season.
We had one starter over 6-5. Almost the entire team of Norfolk State was over 6-5. They had a guy who's playing in the NBA this year and he played like it against us. Stuff happens. What was your excuse for an entire year of mediocre basketball for your team? And a worse year this year with a coach you'll have to can this year or next?

So UNC, Duke, NC State, Wake Forrest, Kentucky, etc are all Midwest
I believe southern teams have the most basketball championships.

I feel bad for Arkansas. This is the best you have. Right now lowly Missouri is better in football and hoops. That's gotta hurt.

As for the U of San Fran comment, that isn't a valid comparison at all. Arkansas has had success much more recently than them. Arkansas is pulling top ten recruiting classes, has the money, commitment, facilities, etc... to be a great basketball program.

I do wish that we had better history in the tourney, but in all honesty it wasn't even a big deal until about 40 years ago. Before that it was a much bigger deal to win your conference and we have done that many times. Norm was an old school coach and didn't care much about the NCAA. And to the Bama fan who says we don't care about baseball, get a grip dude we happen to have one of the best professional baseball teams in our state we don't need to go watch rookie ball in Columbia with metal bats

Oh. You won your conference tournament? I get the fun of reducing entire seasons to NCAA tournament wins. It's especially good for using on message boards. But our team accomplished far more than yours last year. And all the solace you have is that we both finished on the same day.
