Brady was hired for one year...maybe 2.

I think some people are confused about the nature of hiring Joe Brady. He was never going to stay at LSU for more than a couple years.

His job was to teach others how to drive the Ferrari parked in the garage. It just so happened they, LSU, players and staff, caught lightening in a bottle, and to their credit picked up what Brady was putting down a lot quicker than expected.

We've had the players for years, but we didn't have the staff to put those players in the best possible position to succeed.

Joe Brady gave us the blue print to do that. It is a philosophy, not a method. He was brought here to drag LSU out of the dark ages. It was never a marriage, just a means to an end.

It is the turning point for LSU Football. Yes, it will take a couple years to replace the exodus of coaches, but it was Ed Orgeron who realized there needed to be a change, and it was Ed Orgeron who orchestrated that change.

It will likely not be 2020, but we still coming!
