I am assuming that they have Ohio State jumping Oklahoma due to the Michigan win and an expected crushing NW in the B1G championship.

No clue why they think Ohio St. should get into the playoffs over OU after OSU got blown out by Purdue 49 - 20.
OU is currently ranked higher and lost to a good Texas team 48 to 45. OSU plays Northwestern in the Big 10 Championship. OU plays Texas again in the Big 12 finale. If OU and OSU both win, and I think they will, OU should get the nod from my perspective.

A good Texas team? Seriously - they lost to Maryland, OkSU, and WVU. Only decent loss in the list is WVU. Also, they squeaked by a terrible KU team, and lowly TULSA as well
They are average at best, and haven't really played anyone with a pulse.

This season was all kinds of messed up and mediocre.

OU or OSU- I think they will give a Conference Champion more clout over a non conference champion.

Because the entire reason the SEC grouped the Gator, Outback, Belk, Liberty, Texas, and Music City was to stop teams from going to the same location too often.
A&M has yet to play in a Florida bowl since joining the conference so the odds are very high they will end in either the Outback or Gator.
In order we have been to the Cotton, Peach, Liberty, Music City, Texas, Belk.
Since we were in the Texas just two years ago the odds are extremely low that the SEC will send an 8-4 A&M to Houston.
If A&M doesn't get a Florida bowl we are far more likely to end up in the Liberty or Music City.

They should just schedule Iowa and LSU every year in Tampa and be done with it.
Call it the First Day in January game (FDIJ)

Every year all year since we joined the SEC everyone predicts us to go to the Texas Bowl. Only once have they been correct

Honestly I think y'all are really good team, better than any other 8-4 team in the country. Maybe the Gator (Taxslayer) bowl if not the Citrus.
I think LSU is locked into the Outback.

OSU will likely throttle a mediocre NW team. OU will need to do the same to a decent Texas team, which I don't think they're anticipating, hence OSU getting the jump. NW has also very coincidentally been making big jumps in the top 25 since they clinched the B10 West. They're doing what they can to make sure the Big 10 isn't left out again this year.
