IIRC, Auburn's Special Teams, not their offense, won the game. Alabama's failed in the Iron Bowl. Alabama's defense did enough for Alabama to win; Alabama's Special Teams and offense (to a lesser extent) did not.

Actually Gus outcoached Saban. Saban got the 1 sec put back on the clock to try a long FG. As soon as AU coaches saw that Bama put the standard FG unit on the field, we called time out and put our PUNT return team on. Better athletes.
