Take your purple and gold glasses off.

Probably won't turn on him but I would ask him why he rolled around campus on a scooter when he had 180k under his mattress. He must be one thrifty SOB

Pat Dye was found to cheat, he has a field named after him and has his prints all over Chizik and his staff.

keep believing that. An ex coach from lsu just got caught cheating. You don't think miles knew about that

I am close to a number of people inside the LSU program. Throughout our history, the dirtiest coaches were the ones who have been least successful. If we weren't clean I would have no trouble admitting it. Saban got rid of all the dirty elements around our program after the 90's where we were dirty ad hell
And considering Miles self reported the violation and fired the coach/kicked the player off the team when he found out, no I don't think he had any knowledge of that.

in a SENSE, DS is right.
saban and miles don't push the limits on what would piss people off because they push the envelope too much like auburn does.
they "cheat" just right. which is basically the same amount that any other college in america does it. so it's not notable or unreasonable.
the NCAA knows this goes on. they don't care as long as it's kept in check. the sport brings a lot of money, and they know the players can't work and make money. they also know that it's a big boy business. their whole function is to keep people from getting an unfair advantage over other schools.
THAT is what auburn did, but probably won't punished for.

Keep thinking you're the only one who doesn't cheat yet somehow always competes for championships.

We're not. Bama doesn't cheat anymore. Auburn was clean in 2004. It's not just LSU by a longshot. You're just trying to rationalize how Chiz has cut corners.

Dude. Read the entire thread. I know auburn cheats. I have personally seen it. I'm not denying that auburn cheats at all. I'm just waiting for someone to prove it. Until then, it doesn't matter, cause nothing is going to change.

the best proof i have is that you've personally seen it. and i trust that you've seen your team cheat :)
f'kin cheaters.
if it's bad enough for a regular joe to have seen... that's more severe than i thought!

my brother (who goes to Alabama) watched Trent Richardson get paid in broad daylight at gellettes (sp?) bar in ttown. Just handing money over to him without even worrying about people seeing it. Posted on 2/26/11 at 10:50 am to m2pro
I'm not naive like most in here seem to be. Who give a shite if the players get some money. They make these schools millions and millions of dollars in revenue yet don't get anything (so y'all think)

no one.
but 200k isn't "some money." that's a fricking house.

And he brought in probably 5 million in revenue. 200k is nothing out of that.

did i ever say i didn't think it wasn't something that auburn could afford??
no, i'm saying auburn paid a LOT more for Cam than they should have to keep it under the radar. you get what you get, and even if all y'all get is a tarnished reputation... good.
<no offense to you of course>

Probably more than that. The BCS game was at least 15 million.

Well I'm just going by Saban @ LSU. I have no knowledge of what goes down in Tuscaloosa.
