Mullen3:16- Keep tellin yourself that pal.. Yall squeaked by by the hair of your goddamn chinny chin chin and now you think you got Les figured out. You HAVE to be below the age of 17. If you are, you will learn in a couple years that football has parody and Alabama won't be great forever. Enjoy it while it lasts my man!

I never claimed forever. I said as long as Les Miles is there. Thought that was pretty clear in the OP.

A safer bet would be that Les Miles wont win a NC with his OWN players.

Posted by Message Mullen3:16 Bold prediction: Les Miles will never defeat Nick Saban again How do you explain away 1/9/12? The answer is you can't. That was LSU's "best team ever." Saban put on a clinic. An absolute clinic.

I'll explain 1/9/12 for you.

All that game proved is saban is a better coach when he has a MONTH and a HALF to prepare his team. Other than that Les and lil nicky are about EVEN. Three and three since '07.

I really doubt we see another LSU/bama game where the coaches have that much time to prepare. Can't see them ever playing a season opener against each other. Maybe once we get to 4 team setup, but, I doubt the will be such a long layoff between games.

So, for the forseeable future expect most every LSU/bama game to go down to the fourth quarter with each team winning some and losing some.

The second one was an obvious reference to the Athlon rankings that had just come out. Lighten up Francis.

Must I believe that LSU is perfect in all ways in order to post? This isn't the Tiger Rant the last time I checked.

Whose choice was it to play Jefferson in that game?

Spring practice reports seem to indicate that Les has gone CEO, and CamCam has Chavis'd the offense.

I can only hope those reports are accurate.

I'm confident they are. LSU's O was fine till that disastrous 08 season (though the O finished ranked 55). It's unfortunate Perrilloux got kicked off the team but Crowton didn't seem able to do the deal with the talent at hand. Miles put constraints ('Parameters' I think is the word he used) on Crowton. Whether this was best or not, who knows...Miles is the HC, he made his decision. In hindsight Crowton was kept a year too long but Miles is a loyal guy, have to take the bad with the good. The 2011/2012 clubs had an OL guy and an ailing Krag.
Cameron goes back about 30 years with Miles, are good friends, has worked with top notch QB's and at the highest level. I have no doubt he will be running the O himself. The only question I have is will he have autonomy on the lineup, specifically the QB. Will he start/play the QB who gives us the best chance, even if it's not Zach?

I'm not. I'm choosing posts that involved an actual thought process to respond too. The other 90%...it's the Rant

I appreciate your input dbt. You might be the only one bringing in rational discussion to dispute my claim.
