Why not? If they get it a field goal would tie, if they don't a FG would put them in the lead, even had they kicked the PAT.

Yeah i understand that, but now if Vt scores and just kicks the extra, they have 34. That's still a one score game if Boise goes for two. Now VT has to go for 2 again to make it a two score game.

I have suddenly become a Hokie fan. I hate all the kissing up to Boise State. These announcers are trying to put them in the national championship game already!

It happens in every game. The announcers always pick a team and ride their dicks. It's something you have to get used to when watching CFB.
