I'm willing to admit that our football program sold its soul for more wins....i have no problem with this as i'm sure bama fans don't either. The mess that was left up here on the hill was pretty sad, good thing is we are close and it's only looking up from here

I remember a phone call from Petrino's agent that Auburn was offering after a 5 win season or do you believe that the Iowa State coach was your most desired target.

Petrino's agent is one Jimmy Sexton. Sexton does a great job of making up bullshite rumors to get his coaches raises.

Having a coach other fanbases hate > having a coach you hate, but you get lectured by other fanbases on how he's a great guy and the best coach you could possibly hope for

Petrino.. left the Falcons during the season.

Every time I think of Blank, I laugh. ...whining on national television. We paid less for Petrino to do something Blank couldn't pay him enough to not do.

Is there a dumber fanbase than the Falcon fans? Or bigger hypocrits?

I'm a pretty shitty person, too, by the way. 'Cause I'd definitely quit my job tomorrow if someone called me and offered me a comparable job in a location I felt more comfortable.

Proof?

And don't use almost beating 'Bama as an excuse. Mike Shula almost defeated a lot of teams in his remarkable career at the Capstone, but he wasn't a good coach.

Petrino's agent is Russ Campbell, the same guy who represents one Gene Chizik.
