It's a shame. He was a good coach with lots of ability. It's a shame he is not as good a person as he was a coach.
Arkansas will be hard pressed to upgrade at this time. Maybe they can get by for a year.

There has got to be a whole lot more to the situation than what's been reported,no way he should get fired for what's been reported thus far,hell Louisville stood by Pitino when he was doing the same thing..

I hate Arkansas, but his firing was a joke. Unless they have uncovered something more serious, I see no reason for firing him.
He committed no felony (from what they have reported thus far), there was no violence involved on his part, and there was no substance abuse involved. It is despicable what he did to his wife and children (betraying their trust), but firing a coach over an affair?

I think the big difference is the Pitino didn't hire his side piece.

So, he hired her. Big deal. She would have been qualified for almost any position. Unless the job was specifically created for her and other applicants were not interviewed, then I don't see what all the noise is about.
