Not unless we can get some playmakers at the receiver spots and and some stud olinemen. We have some quality running backs.

We’ve seen what a receiver like Burks can do for an offense and we haven’t touched that since he left much like you have with Burden, when he leaves there’s a big hole that can’t be filled usually.

It’s like when we got Drew Sanders from Bama who was looking for playing time and our best player and athlete on defense immediately and could have been a big difference on offense if he had been used as a receiver or tight end.

The players make the coaches look good no matter the coach. Look at Bama and Georgia and such with all their talent.

From grade school on up, the team with the best player or players generally win with adequate coaching.

The rest of us need to enjoy the peak years and look to the future I guess. Same old shite.

Who needs WR when we have TEs like Hasz and Washington.
But, Armstrong will be back and there's a few 4* WRs already incoming.

As for O-Line, we already have the highest rated O-Lineman in the portal committed and more are coming. The two young 4* tackles got forced into duty a year early and will be better.

But mostly we'll have a QB that doesnt hold it for twice as long as he should. BP would never allow that.

I’m glad to see the optimism, beats the hell out of the doom and gloom I’ve been reading from our posters here. I hope you’re right and things can go in a positive direction.

Either BP helps Pittman turn Arkansas around, or Pittman gets fired at some point next season and BP can be interim coach.

Maybe Stoops told Bobby to take the Arkansas job after he interviewed for the Texas A&M HC position.

Definitely possible. Doubling down - maybe Petrino told Stoops that when he found out he wasn’t going to be coaching there anymore and coming back to Arkansas that he could finally remove the protective duct tape from his butt cheeks. “Something. Something. Thumbs, Stoops… Thumbs.”
