your age got called out b/c you acted like down years for OU are 10 win seasons.

clearly you are young b/c it would be unlikely an an older OU fan would say something that blatantly false.

Big 12 Champs no less.

Okay. I was incorrect, our down years are 8 win seasons. My bad. Still better than A&M's down years.

Our average wins in a "down year" is 7 wins. You are not as good of a program as you seem to think.

I think we both know that that game meant more than just a regular cotton bowl win. It put the emphasis on how fricked y'all are now that Aggies are the big swingin' dick in Texas.

Not really. Look at recruiting, Texas was hurt last year more than we were. Like I said earlier in this thread, everything in sports is cyclical.

Win a BCS game and come talk to me. (OU has one within the last three years).

Is a win against an unranked 8-4 UConn supposed to be more impressive than beating the mighty 2012 Big 12 Football Champs that went 10-2 and only lost to top 10 teams?

Cool, I guess. But, I wouldn't trade you.

How angry were you when you were exiting the cotton bowl in january in the 3rd quarter with "SEC! SEC! SEC!" ringing in your ears?

One of my buddies is a big UT fan, I thought he was the only one that still actually thought the Big 12 is better than the SEC.

And your average wins in an "up year" is probably like 8 wins?

Except Oklahoma being anything but a top 3 team at any given time, right?

I didn't bother to read his whining, but has someone pointed out to Stoops that in just about every non-BCS bowl game involving SEC teams the SEC team plays "up" against their opponents with regards to their respective conference rankings?

2012-13 Bowl affiliations

Independence SEC #10 vs ACC #7
Music City SEC #7 vs ACC #6
Liberty SEC #8 or #9 vs CUSA #1
Chick-Fil-A SEC #5 vs ACC #2
Gator SEC #6 vs Big 10 #4 or #5
Outback SEC #3 or #4 vs Big 10 #3
Capital One SEC #2 vs Big 10 #2
Cotton SEC #3 or #4 vs Big 12 #2
Compass Bowl SEC #8 or #9 vs Big East #5

Are you implying I think that? I haven't said that anywhere in this thread

Hahaha two things:

1. You're obsessed with us and its flattering but we aren't interested

2. Ostrich is going to lose this argument with Fawx because Fawx will argue UNTIL THE BITTER END

OU was almost literally shut out of this state in recruiting. This has never happened before, even when we had sherrill. But keep puffing out your bird chest over a "bcs win" against 8-4 UConn.

94 - 6-6
95 - 5-5-1
96 - 3-8
97 - 4-8
98 - 5-6
99 - 7-5
