LSU and Georgia are interchangeable when it comes down to it. LSU is ahead based on one more title.

Both have 4 titles, unless you only want to count AP titles. (Georgia's 1942 title was consensus, but lacked the AP) That said Georgia bests LSU in most categories, but I would agree that are almost dead even. I was just curious about why you gave them the nod...but at the same time, it would be difficult to argue that we deserved the nod. Even seems closer to correct....anyway...thanks for putting this together.

Nobody is going to "lose" their blueblood status, because you can't just delete history.

Then you must add Yale and Princeton, correct?

Princeton has 15 titles and Yale has 18. If you can't erase history, then you would have to include them. The problem with calling any team a Blue Blood is that there are no clear cut parameters for what a Blue Blood is. It is merely an opinion and most opinions revolve around what we saw when we were growing up or old war stories we heard from our parents...or worse yet, information we got from the media.

I mean, many on here put Texas in the Blue Blood category, yet they have 3 AP titles, 4 titles if you count a UPI title without the AP title. How is that so much better than LSU, Georgia?

Because I know you don’t have the money

Again, I’m so sorry for your loss on Saturday. I know how much you hate texas deep down and how much it hurts you to see them find success during gameday

Blue Blood doesn't just count for the last decade or two. Not only is Oklahoma a blue blood, they are a mount rushmore program. Top 4 for sure.

frick ou, but credit where credit is due.

If you want to make a list of who's won the most recent titles, then do so.

If you want to know what schools are bluebloods, I gave you the list in my first post and told you why.

With the new conference realignment the SEC is very deep now. The SEC has always been deep in my lifetime. But with TX/OU added this league has so many historical teams its almost embarrassing in a good way. They say OU will be the new Nebraska I highly disagree. OU for decades got elite talent from Texas and the southeast due to proximity they will always be a threat any Saturday in this league. With that said F OU.
