It's actually gotten a lot better now that it is tied in with CNN. It's no longer just random guys making up shite. There are legit journalists writing for them.

They've got 1 guy on staff that I like, Adam Kramer. As long as the continually employ Barrett Sallee and have the slideshow style then I can't take it seriously.

I don't think East or West will have anything to do with it. I think it's going to be all-about who are the two higher ranked teams after the regular season concludes.

If both Georgia and SCAR were to win-out the regular season, UGA would go to Atlanta and SCAR would go to the Sugar.

I don't believe Bama is going to go undefeated through the regular season. I think LSU trips them up too late to recover, that by regular season's end Bama, LSU and SCAR all have one conference loss ... which in that case SCAR would have to win in Atlanta to go BCSing. Otherwise you're right, two from the West would go, LSU or Bama.

That's all with the proviso that LSU beats A&M and that A&M doesn't trip up against Auburn or someone else.

Georgia is going to lose another conference game - they're just too beat-up to survive. UF and/or Auburn will get them.

We've still got our work to do at SCAR as well and even if we win out in conference we still have to deal with the taterheads to have any hope of making a BCS bowl.

In terms of a BCS bowl it is all or nothing for SCAR ... so there is no way we could end-up in the Sugar. It's either BCSNCG or a non-BCS bowl, simple as that.

I wouldn't mind a match-up against a former Big 8 rival.

I know- there's just a greater likelyhood that there's going to be more 1 or fewer loss teams coming out of the West than the East. If South Carolina does win out, they should be there, I just don't think that's going to happen

I'd say Auburn is almost a sure thing for either the Outback or Gator. After you get past the Capital One, it becomes far less about rewarding teams for their record and more about "who will bring the most fans"

They would run the ball for 500 yards on that defense.

I'm just as skeptical as you are. Oddly enough, USA today has us projected to a bowl too.

Them and BR must be on the UGA moral victory train.

The only way that happens is if undefeated Alabama (or undefeated Missouri) loses in the SECCG and the one who beats them goes to the BCSNCG
