The editor for the Birmingham rag is an AU alum and us Bama fans have been dealing with the Bama bashing from them for a long time. We don't expect them to write anything good about us.
You should see the pro AU articles in there. They have become a joke.
A media outlet that presents more than PR for the U of A and you consider it to be a joke? Figures.

Wow what truth. He articulated very plainly what many of the LSU faithful are feeling and rightfully so. I know the way things worked out this year was a quirk, but this LSU team has accomplished more so far than Alabama can achieve even with a victory in the NC. It would be nice if Bama fans could take off their crimson colored glasses as he wrote and see it for what is is. Unfortunately, most won't and will continue posting immature post like," he mad".

Not saying that I'd want their title, just stating a fact. See 2003.
Did you catch the part about 10 out of 13 Alabama NC titles are shared. Would be a little hypocrisy on their part if they complained about a split title now? Of course they could always drop claim to those titles if they don't believe in them!

LSU beat the Pac-12 champion (No. 5 Oregon) in Dallas, the Big East champion (No. 23 West Virginia) in Morgantown, the SEC East champion (No. 16 Georgia) in Atlanta, the BCS No. 2 (Alabama) in Tuscaloosa, and the BCS No. 6 (Arkansas) in Baton Rouge.
I've seen our impressive resume stated many ways, but this may be my favorite.
The AP is a nice trophy for the case, and in the future it gives you a championship that you can claim if you so choose. However, being awarded the AP trophy wouldn't make me feel any better if we were to lose the BCSCG. Good thing that's not going to happen.

The AP will vote the winner of the title game #1, because they won the title game on the field. No chance of a split title.
So what happens when teams do split on the field and one has a better record than the other plus a much better resume? Is this not classic grounds for a split?

You sure don't. Who did Bama split title with in
'09;'92,'78,'64,'61?
Arky in 64? Don't know about 78 or 61, but only one of those needs to be split for it to be 10 out of 13.

1961, split with Ohio State
1978, split with USC (despite losing 24 - 14 at home to them during the season.)
