Mostly, but not completely. Nowhere did say that.
What do you mean not completely?
1- No issue with Kiffin wanting to finish out the season.
2- No issue with the AD telling him that's not going to work.
3- He's not taking the coaches with him because he hates the players he's . But, much like himself, if they're going to follow him it might as well be now.
Massive drama obviously surrounding the story, but it played out like this because of the NCAA having retarded timelines.

Yep. Fans are the only ones who suffer.
Exactly.
These coaches lie through their teeth to get a recruit then lecture them and the fans about loyalty, passion, giving, etc.
It’s stupid.
I can envision a future where schools decentralize power away from the head coach position to mitigate these risks.

Cowher was talking about 4 year players lmao
There was a study this year that showed that 60% of D1 college football players transfer at least once in their career.
That means 40% don’t.

I don’t understand what the problem is. Anyone with a brain applies for a better job while they still have a job. Without getting Ole Miss into the playoffs, maybe his resume isn’t good enough for the better job. But he got them there while a better job was vacant. What else is he supposed to do? Not go for the better job?
You don't entertain offers until the last game is played is what he is supposed to do.
That's what they were talking about in the video. In the NFL there are only certain times when you can hire a coach or talk to other coaches about hiring them. And there are other rules around it as well.

I guess the argument is that he was supposed to leave the staff that he assembled and hired there in place & not take anyone to LSU.
The logistics of whether or not they coach the playoff game is the ole miss AD’s problem.
You have a hard job, but you get paid to navigate tough situations & that baw shat the bed on this one — however anyone wants to frame it.
