SC played Georgia extremely tough last year
Yall didnt fold like all other east teams, but thats quite the exaggeration.

Who knows if UGA will lose or not. But to assume you will win every game just because you are better is not guaranteed. Remember, better Bama teams that won National titles, 11,12,15, and 17 all lost a game.
This is true, and big mistakes can happen in road environments that can lead to a loss. We saw that happen vs AU last year.

could have said the same thing in 2003 except replace Richt's name with Jim Donnan
Our OL was terrible in 2003 since we lost all 5 starters from the previous year. Only returned 8 starters total that year. Also didnt have similar recruiting success in the years going into that to supplement what returned.

Richt had equally impressive seasons as Kirby did last year in 2002, 2007, and 2012.
None of those teams were equally impressive if you look deeper.

We are bound to beat them at home at some point in time.
Hopefully it won't take as many years as it did for Bama to finally beat Auburn in T-town!!!

Oh yea, we are also bringing in more talented recruits than Richt did to boot.

If LSU wins what they should win by the time we play them, that game won't be an upset if they win. I really don't consider it an upset unless you are favored by more than 7.

Can I ask all who keep saying SC will be improved at the beginning of this year over last year why they feel that way?
I'm not butt hurt because you think SC will upset UGA, I'm just asking where do you get that reasoning?
Losing more than half of your defense and starting over on offense scheme wise is usually not a recipe for early season success.

It was 14-7 at halftime and 21-10 going into the 4th quarter. Excerpts from the game recap on ESPN:
South Carolina: The Gamecocks gave the Bulldogs their toughest game since a 20-19 win at then-No. 24 Notre Dame on Sept. 9
Georgia: The test from the Gamecocks should help the Bulldogs in tougher matchups ahead, including the visit to Auburn. Georgia showed poise when tested early. The win should boost Fromm's confidence, especially when future opponents load up their defenses against the run

no, not really. your post was very clear. If you don't know how to properly formulate whatever argument you were trying to make, that's not my fault. The post you quoted lays out exactly what the argument you actually wrote was. If you meant to say something in addition to that, then I'd suggest actually articulating that point. Hope that helps
Try actually reading sometime.

This was your entire post. Other teams had attrition, check. UGA had a good recruiting class, check. Now you tell me what part of your argument I missed ? I do appreciate the strawman you started to build in there, though
As I said. Try reading. That post wasn't to you. And all you responded with was relying on freshman, which I responded to. You also need to look up the definition of a strawman.

Nothing you just posted supports your description of the game.

and Godwin fumbled inside the 5. whats your point. That game could easily have been a blowout. you should be thankful it was just 2 scores

The upset will be a UGA team with 3 losses. The fans will melt on here. ?
And before asking yes I could see UGA heading to LSU 4-2 and if LSU is playing like they are capable of I see UGA leaving BR 4-3 with UF and AU still looming.
So you think UGA will lose to USCe, Mizzou, LSU and then possibly UF and Auburn??

We return nearly everything on offense and showed a ton of potential against a very good Michigan defense with B-Mac calling plays. We know for a fact Bentley plays better when he plays fast. He showed that as a freshman when they just let him play. Roper is no longer calling the offense which was easy to predict. He single handily cost us the Kentucky and Texas A&M games. OL is senior loaded and should be the best we seen in years. WR core in my opinion is best in the SEC. RBs need to improve but they're capable of being average in the SEC.
Outside of Skai Moore I'm not worried about anything we lost on defense. We return DJ Wonnum, Javon Kinlaw, Rashad Fenton, Jam Williams, Steven Montac, TJ Brunson, and Bryson Allen Williams. Add a multi year starter from Texas A&M grad transfer Nick Harvey at corner. Keir Thomas, Brad Johnson, Aaron Sterling, Daniel Fennel, and Keisean Nixon all played significant snaps last year as Muschamp likes to sub alot. Our first group looks really good on paper. We will need to develop some depth as the year goes by but their is talent in the starting group. I don't lose sleep over the defense with Muschamp and T-Rob calling the shots.
