I’m going to go with the hiring of Mike Anderson. He lets more NBA talent leave the state than any other coach in the history of the basketball program and he has 2 more NCAA tournament wins the John Pelphrey.

This was right up there with the Stoerner stumble and fumble. What a terrible feeling going from jubilee to heart sick. This doesn't feel good. Feels like OSU has the mojo in their favor now. Hope I'm wrong.

Nope. Frank Broyles' decision to throw, with a lead with time winding down and near midfield, against TEXAS in 1969.
Pass was intercepted by the late Danny Lester, and the rest is history...

Probably why Texas coach Darrell Royal said:

“Three things can happen when you pass, and two of ‘em are bad.”

Well, TEXAS threw on 4th and 6 on the ensuing drive from their own 39 (I think), all the way inside the Arky 10.
Two plays later, TEXAS scored a TD to tie, with the XP giving the Longhorns a 15-14 win.
But yes, Coach Royal was averse to throwing the ball. I think he's still Oklahoma's all-time interception leader.
Enough with the history lesson.
