Kentucky doesn't have the biggest football fan base, but we still support our team just as faithfully as the other SEC teams.

That's nuts. Only thing I can think of is they alienate alot of "Joe Six-packs" with the perception of Ole Miss as a "snoddy" school/program.

If you include baseball into this mix, and not limited to football, its lsu.
Agree, ask washungton huskies fans and omaha locals. I hardly see bama fans travel for baseball, just football like Uk in basketball.

I would say:
Florida
UGA
LSU
Alabama
Tennessee
have the largest fanbases in the SEC... it's impossible to determine which one bc quite frankly they are all huge.

When it comes to die-hard football fans, nobody beats the folks in Columbia, SC. The Gamecock fans fill their stadium year in and year out, regardless of whether or not the football team is winning.

Williams-Brice Stadium has a capacity of 80,250. The attendance for the Ole Miss game last week was a little over 74,000.

It was a Thursday night game. UGA wouldn't pack em in during the week either.

JoLeUGA, the revenue numbers are probably the only unbiased, concrete proof of the size of a national fanbase...

Nobody gives a shite about Bama football outside of Alabama and the South in general. Especially considering they weren't very good for 15 years.
Not sure what that has to do with anything?? LSU wasn't good for about 100 years, but they still have a good sized fanbase.
