You Coonass inbreds are a bunch of rantards who only hopes and prays he leaves. The will occur when the Nictator wins his 3rd crystal ball this century dashing and slashing Coonass nation's perfect season. Bama will match any $$$ UT offers. Besides, at this point its about His legacy not cash.

Saban will be the bigger meltdown. Saban knows that he has no chance at another NC for quite awhile after this year's graduation. So he either stays with the Gumps where he has never truly been happy and takes a beatdown after losing in the BCSNC game, or moves on and becomes a Savior to another down program that can pay him more and give him anything he asks for including his own Network for recruiting in Texas.

This. If the conspiracy theory prevails that ESPN is behind the rematch, I wouldn't doubt that it would also try to get Saban for UT to boost LHN.

Texas can't outbid Bama get serious! If UTex offered Saban 10mil a year Bama could easily match it... as high as Texas could go.. Bama could easily match it.

Surely this is a joke...what part of the $300 million Texass TV can Bammer match?

Trust me, Texass wins a bidding war with ANY school, except maybe ND if the Pope got involved.

We will be loaded on offense and defense in 2013 (and maybe kicker???)...and the schedule sets up nicely for us as well.

We'll take this year and 2013. Ya'll can have 2012.

That and it wouldn't be a huge challenge for him with how easy he'd be able to pluck top recruits in state.
My opinion anyway

It's all in the playbook.. Go to texas, win there in about 3 years.. Wait for smoke to clear at penn state and the rebound coach to fail.

Go to penn state, win there in 3 years.

Win BCSCG's at 4 colleges, ego stoked, name forever mentioned as best coach.

. I don't know if Arky could find a better coach than Petrino.

Not unless we could hire Saban away from Bama.

There's not a single coach in America I would take over BP besides Saban

That's a little crazy - Petrino is not a long-term solution because of the breadth and depth of his douchebaggery - he is an outstanding coach and probably the best coach Arkansas can attract in the current environment.

This is the best Arkansas team I've seen in a while, but Petrino would not be in my top 15, if I could pick from the pool of all viable FBS head coaches.

I'll be included in the Saban meltdown if he leaves. It's more gratifying when we beat that arse to see him on the sideline.

Les leaving for Texas. Saban coming back to LSU and Petrino going to bama. Let's play musical chairs. What does Arky get?

You can be proud of Bama all you like, but Texas could outbid you, out-facility you, out-endowment you, out-fanbase you, out-alumni you & out-everything you.

Until you can come up with something like The Gump Network & literally destroy conferences on a whim, upsetting the balance of power in college football as we've known it, then you can talk.

You can't, so don't bother.

True this. I don't buy into the Saban-to-Texas deal but make no mistake, UT will be able to get pretty much whoever they decide to go after. Texas is a money machine without peer...they dwarf the resources (any form you want) of mere mortal universities.

I don't think Saban leaves, but if he did WANT to, Texas is the only logical choice with their money, recruiting base, and easy to dominate conference. Saban could become the 2nd coach in college football history to win titles at three different schools. Howard Jones coached a LONG freakin time ago, so it would be quite an accomplishment. He's already in the conversation of best coaches in college football history, but I think winning another crystal football at another school puts him all alone in 1st place.

Like I said, he probably won't leave. I think if he was 5 years younger he might, but I think he is on the way out in a few years and will probably finish up at Bama.

Oh, by the way. Be ready to cry along with Saban on 1/9. He's not getting #3 this year.
