football is the money maker and our games are getting high ratings even when we play shitty teams...so I'll go with Fournette.

But Simmons could be a household name like Shaq as well. Unfortunately Simmons is likely one and done.

Fournette because he will be a tiger for 3 years. Simmons will be in and out the door so he will still make a big impact and bring a lot of attention, just not as long

Ben Simmons might lead Johnny Jones to his first NCAA tournament win in 20 years of coaching.

You don't know shite about LSU basketball.

Then again, you might have a general idea because you're spending your evening on an SEC message board

The best basketball players the SEC has ever seen have come out of LSU... Do you even pay attention to history?

Somehow you still haven't realized that a chimp could have won an NCAA tournament game at KSU, after Huggin's masterful bag man work.

I am LSU fan, but don't forget Kentucky did bring Anthony Davis to the SEC. Eventhough it is early he is looking like he is someone who projects to the greatness of a Shaq and Maravich type player.

He didn't play as much basketball in the SEC as those guys obviously.

The answer is Fournette unless Simmons takes LSU to a Basketball National Championship this season.

Congrats

Umm....

Stan Heath took Kent State to the Elite 8

shite, John Brady took LSU to the Final 4 after having to rebuild the program after sanctions. By your logic John Brady is a far superior coach to Frank Martin. In fact after Draconian Sanctions John Brady in year 3 took LSU to a 28-6 season and the Sweet 16. You're dancing in the streets in year 3 when Frank Martin beat Randy Kennedy in the SECT

^^
that's a classic and even small example of the difference between LSU and South Carolina.
