Should their fans start chanting "Big Ten" when playing non-conference teams?

Yes, but the stipulation is that they have to chant it like they sound.

- the 2025 NCAAT saw a historical record 14 teams (surpassing the 11 from the Big East) make the field -

8 made Rd 2
7 made the Sweet 16
4 made the Elite 8
2 made the Final Four (had to play each other in national semis)
1 made the Final
1 won it all

the Big tin had 4 teams make the Sweet 16 and 3 were eliminated by SEC teams - the lone survivor Michigan State then lost to Auburn in a regional final - there were zero big Tin teams in the 2025 Final Four -

no matter what the big tin does the rest of this tournament it cannot surpass what the SEC less than a year ago -

And this has what to do with THIS YEAR?? NIL and leveling the playing field for paying athletes has killed the SEC.
