Queef Carter clearly thought he could force Kiffin to sign an extension by holding Kiffin’s team hostage.
Kiffin called his bluff and Queef went into panic mode.
Hence hiring Piss Drunk Pete, after Ole Missies swore they would just replace Kiffin with Jon Sumrall because he turned down Auburn.

Everyone in the country now despises Kiffin because he hung his team out to dry. There was no bluff. Kiffin was arrogant enough to fly his family around to check out other towns. Kiffin fricked up and payed the price. Carter saved Ole Miss by masterfully pinning the psycho down.

I mean, he robbed you of the opportunity to witness your first and last national championship in football all because he couldn’t get over the fact that he was being left for something better.
