I’m legitimately not sure if you’re serious.
What top 20 team did Bama beat THIS SEASON? A sorry LSU team that lost to Troy and MSU by 30.
Wisconsin beat 2. Both of those teams won their bowl games BTW.
Bama didn’t even play and got in.
WTF are you saying? How are they more deserving? Who did they beat.
You all admitted that the Big 10 is hands down the best conference, so who did Bama beat that was so much better than who Widco sun beat in Northwestern and Michigan? Who?
Michigan is gonna beat the brakes off of USCe and we will have another data point against the SEC.

Wisconsin faced one Top 25 team on their entire schedule prior to the championship game they lost. Michigan is not ranked. 7 of the 12 teams on their schedule have losing records. They made no effort to add any difficulty to their schedule, either. Do not use a bowl game to justify a pathetic resume. They skated through a historically weak division and looked pedestrian against OSU. Even after being given credit for facing OSU, their strength of schedule is unimpressive.

quote:The Big-10 has played four Pac-12 teams and the 1 SEC team they played was a 1-point game with Kentucky going for a 2 point conversion instead of overtime...both teams were about the 6th best teams in their conferences. I honestly don't see a noticeable difference in the 2 conferences.

It's almost like missing out on the playoffs pushed every Big 10 team down bowl tiers and gave them easier matchups
edit: The one thing I do see is that the Pac-12 is really soft.

I live in Ohio. There's a reason people hate Ohio State fans and it's their arrogance. You douchebags think you're God's gift to college football. Most people in this state are really good people but they're absolute retards when it comes to college football.

Meaningless bowl games. Gotcha... So meaningless that your fan base got their faces dragged across the bottom of Oklahoma’s nutsacks when they got raped in NOLA a few years back. Meaningless when Zeke Elliott ran for 500 yards on your team after you had a two touchdown lead in NOLA. What do you do for an encore in NOLA? The world is waiting. Hurts completes a pick six or two to Clemson’s D-Line?

Michigan WAS RANKED and the fact is an 8-3 Big10 team is equal to an 11-1 SEC team.
Thy are a hell of a lot better than a 6-6 FSU team.
They will be and should be ranked.
Delusional entitled fan base that can’t look into the mirror and get perspective.

Wisconsin’s schedule was so bad and they looked so unimpressive all year that OSU was punished for only beating them by a few points. That’s how pathetic they were.
You can stop now. You look silly.

They were ranked #3 at the time we played them, which is just as relevant as Michigan being ranked “Top 20!!!!11!! ErrrrmuhhgAaahhhd” when Wisconsin played them.

No it isn't. Preseason vs late November. Not difficult stuff.

Just as relevant and equally disingenuous.
Mississippi State was a Top 20 team when we played them as well. Nobody cares.

Nope. One ranking was given after nearly an entire season of results. The other wasn't. Do I need to tell you which is which?

They were #24, weren't they?

Well, that's bullshite. Gumps were beating their chests about that ranked win. Hell, y'all were even throwing Fresno State around.

Neither is relevant when comparing resumes at the end of the season.

They were #18 when we played them and got up to #16 before losing their QB and losing to Ole Miss.

It’s still a ranked win. Fresno St. might end up being one as well. I don’t recall anyone using MSU’s ranking at the time we played them as a resume booster. For this conversation, they were and still are a Top 25 win. And that alone makes it a better win than Wisconsin’s win over Michigan.

Both are relevant. One is more relevant, though.

Word.

Of course not. Y'all hadn't lost to Auburn and missed out on the chance at a championship at that point. As soon as that happened, MSU became one of the greatest wins in the history of college football.

Not really. Tomorrow's game will have a big say in this. A win by Michigan makes it a better win than Mississippi State. Even with a loss, Michigan is still a better team than Mississippi State.

Been saying it all year that top to bottom this conference played the best football. Their top is far better than anything the SEC has on top. Sorry UGA. These are physical and fast teams with excellent coaches. It’s been coming for a while...
Sham that they were left out... no reason for it whatsoever.
Maybe LSU should join the B1G? Have you considered it? If LSU had done their part maybe the SEC would have been looked at more favorably.

This dude is so eaten up with his hatred for Bama that he’s willing to shite on his own team in an effort to discredit Bama’s presence in the playoff.
Pathetic.

MState was #16 when Alabama played them.
LSU #19
Auburn #6
Florida State #3
LINK
For Ohio State:
Oklahoma #5
Penn State #2
Michigan State #12
Wisconsin #4
Ohio State played a pretty impressive schedule all in all. They lost to #5 Oklahoma which hut....but the crusher was how they lost to non-ranked Iowa. Interesting thing is, if you take either of the losses away, Ohio State would probably have gone to the playoffs.

I know. I've never understood some of the LSU fans. They throw logic away sometimes. Not all, but way too many on this board.
