As I said....I don't agree, nor do I disagree. All I am saying is that LSU fans get on here claiming they have the best. I remember when Cam Cameron first went to LSU all we heard was how he was an OC genius and would open up the offense. Chavis was the best DC until he left for A&M. It goes on and on...

No. I'm not digging through this whole site for old threads. If you want to know just ask. I think there are plenty of people on here that will back me up. I'm not a troll, but I do call it like I see it. There has already been one poster indicate that what I said is true. High horse? I never indicated that I, or Georgia was better than LSU. I even admitted that Georgia fans can get just as unreasonable in some of the Fornette verses Chubb threads. I don't know why you think I am on a high horse. Perhaps you don't know what it means?

Of those six bama DBs you mentioned one has not played a single down of college football yet and last I heard another one is serving at least a four game suspension.
bama's starting four is SOLID no doubt but, they have no experienced backups as of now.

If you don't think LSU has a claim at best backfield and secondary, it isn't me who isn't objective.
You don't see me talking about coaching and QB's or LB's. I've also never made a claim about WRs because our QB spot is a shite show.

I agree with all that 
But I see what he's saying about what u said about linebackers. Any LSU fan with any sense will tell you that our linebacking corp isn't on par with some other SEC teams. It's always been our worst position when it comes to recruiting. That or qb. But we're starting to pick it up a little bit with Divinity, Devin White, and Dylan Moses.

Well. Let's see. Georgia's secondary was rated #1 last season and we return everybody. EVERYBODY.
But you know what I said? I said we lost our two best pass rushers and don't expect to be #1 again. You? Even though Florida's and Alabama's was rated higher than LSUs last season, you proclaim LSU is #1 and Florida is up there. Alabama doesn't even enter into your mix.

Well...the Linebacker thing probably came from only one or two lesser informed people.
hey....some of the LSU posters know me. I am no troll. In fact, I was once a HUGE LSU fan when I was a kid. Even had the little gold sweater with the purple "LSU" letters on it. My cousin went to LSU with Tommy Casanova and my brother is still a huge fan. painted his basement room Purple and gold and watches their games down there when they are on TV.
Everybody thinks their team is the best, and even when they don't they tend to come on here and claim it for some reason. I just wish we could all be a little more reasonable with our claims and expectations. It would make conversation a little more civil and informative.
It's amazing how your QB recruiting has struggled recently, My all time favorite LSU QB was Bert Jones.
Dylan Moses is going to be a hoss, but I wouldn't count Alabama out on him just yet. They have a way of getting the players they really want....except for Fournette, that is.

Who cares who was #1 last season. The thread was about this season and there are a number of reasons LSU had problems LAST year.
The biggest was coaching. Steele never adjusted. like ever.

I realize you are going by reality and know they shouldn't claim that...but you and I both know there are some really crazy folks in every fan base.
But, I made claims of people talking about, RB, WR, Secondary, OC, DC...and that's the one you pick up on?
I could have added DL and OL....I've seen those, too. So, let's break this down to be much easier.
According to many in your fan base, the only places LSU does NOT have the best players in the SEC is LB and QB. Is that better?

Good news for you, then. He's gone. I'm not claiming Georgia is going to be #1. In fact, I said I am hoping we can be Top 5. (In the SEC) LSU was 65th in the nation, (10th or 11th in the SEC) yet you fully expect them to climb to the top.
Alright. If I were you, I would take a different approach. I would say you won't be #1 in the SEC, because with the team LSU will have, you will have sizable leads forcing the other teams to throw more.
I can buy that. LSU should have an excellent team. You should have a LOT of big leads forcing your opponents to throw the ball more.

It's ok you don't share my opinion.
In any case I believe LSU I have a top secondary. Coaching was a big factor holding us back last year. I think we solved that and we have clear NFL talent all over the place.

Actually it means someone who is acting superior. The very definition of many LSU fans. You think you have the best at practically every position. I would be the opposite, since I am hoping for a Top 5 finish for our secondary, think our OL was a hot mess last year, and our DL is very thin this year. Our QB was horrible. See? You don't HAVE to think your team has the best players at every position.
