Three games in 30 hours. By the way, frick Kentucky basketball.

Game winning shot by Zach Swansey from Dunwoody HS who transferred a year later.
That was one crazy weekend. Georgia had no business winning that tournament. No team with Swansey and Dave Bliss as starters should win the SEC. But those guys dug deep and figured out a way to win in the middle of a storm. Unforgettable.

Despite Georgia being awful in basketball they still won the SEC tourney more recently then LSU

Their last (and only) SECT title was in...1980.

Distant 2nd was AU's only other tourney champs in 1985.

AU's Sonny Smith had already turned in his resignation after a disappointing '84-'85 campaign before the team went on its run, causing him to reverse his decision and stick around for the glory years of '86-'88.

Here's the last few seconds of o/t in the championship game, vs bitter rival Bama: Take note of the Bama player with the game-ending turnover

Lol - Tennessee’s best year to end the massive SECT drought and we let Steven fricking Hill nail a turn around fade away jumper to win it. Might’ve been his only points all game.
