Not actual names but in the early 1980's. State had two DE's named Billy Jackson (small) and Tyrone Keys (tall), that Coach Bellard nicknamed them Mutt and Jeff.

Also he called the center Kent Hull (future Buffalo Bill w/Jim Kelly and co.) "tougher than a two bit steak"because he was a undersized 210lb center as a freshman in 1979. Obviously he gained weight through college.
