I was there. Sitting in the end zone where that catch happened. Still unbelievable to this day. It was not a TD as they ruled him down on the half yard line.
USM was up 21-10 when that happened.
Bama had like a 4th And 35 from the 40 yard line.
Bama did score to cut the lead to 21-17 and eventually won the game 30-21.
Game happened about two weeks after Katrina.
Unbelievable catch.

Those were the learning days. We went into every game not knowing who would win. I felt we had the better team, but it was not a given. I have been through uncertain times with Alabama Football. Seen the bad, seen the good. It’s al a toss up after Coach decides to leave.

Y’all are coming along. I can’t say we as Alabama will win the games needed. Something isn’t right. I believe two people need to go. OC and DC. Neither one are committed.
