I could see the stadium from where I parked. I was on the other side, opposite from the Quad.

There's not much for tailgating once you're south of Bryant Drive.

The Good:
1. Alabama
2. Auburn
3. Ole Miss
I was very disappointed in Florida and Georgia. Florida had crappy tailgating, douchebag fans, and the stadium wasn't as loud as Bama or Auburn. Auburn is the loudest non-LSU stadium I have been to (for the 2008 night game).
MSU is louder than UGA. Kentucky may have been as well, I was very disappointed once I got inside the stadium.
I've been to Bama (2x), Auburn (2x), Ole Miss (2x), Georgia, Florida, Kentucky, MSU, and Arkansas at Little Rock.

Georgia - probably my favorite road trip
Auburn - close 2nd. and really loud
Ole Miss - tailgating ok, stadium atmosphere is kinda weak though
Alabama - didnt see what the hype was all about...kinda lame IMO
Miss. St. - again, kinda lame
Florida - tailgating, cops, and fans SUCK...stadium atmosphere cool
Arkansas (Little Rock) - had a good time tailgating with the Hog fans

LSU always makes sure the big games are night games I dont understand why Florida doesnt do this as much
There is nothing LSU can do to ensure that the big games are at night, TV controls everything now, the only game times LSU can control are the shite games, but we do put those at night.

i wish we got to have a few more night games...it seems like we are stuck with the 3:30 slot quite a bit...and we were on JP sports and SEC NEtwork at noon at least 3 times a season...the night games recently have sucked bc we've gotten vandy, fsu, miami...the last big night game in the swamp i can remember was the lsu florida game in 08....anything other than a night game in florida in aug and september is pure hell

our tailgaiting is a bit different than most of the SEC ive been to...our tailgaiting tends to be spread out all over university avenue and into the student ghetto and down 2nd avenue.. the tailgaiting gets pretty crazy...however, as an opposing fan coming into gainesville, i can see how it would appear to leave something to be desired...now if you were to come to gainesville and stay with a uf student or alumni that has their own tailgate or house in the student ghetto, then you would probably have a great time
i have not been to BR yet..but id be willing to bet that our stadium atmosphere is second to none...its our stadium that makes a trip to gville a must, not the tailgaiting unfortunately...come up on a friday, go out friday to midtown, get crazy, then go out again saturday night and enjoy the women and the nightlife
Yea, Florida has a pretty good tailgating scene(everybody cannot be LSU
