New Neyland

Will not be done until ~2030. The small part they renovated in 2009 is a lot nicer than the rest though.

That was my first night game there, I didn't go in '98 or '04.

I believe it's being phased out in favor of restaurant chain booths. Calhoun's were added to Neyland last season and I believe there's a plan for Chick fil As to be added this season.

I always just hit up the McDonald's close by and stick some chicken wraps in my cargo pocket.

I'm extremely jealous of this. The ramps, restrooms, and concessions inside Tiger Stadium are just plain embarrassing. There are old generators and machines from the 20's that are size of cars sitting inside Tiger Stadium that you see when walking up the interior ramps. There is a lot of wasted space that could be used for more restrooms and concession stands. Also a lot of the interior walk ways lack sufficient lighting. I'm not sure if any of the interior of the lower bowl has been remodeled since most of it was built in the 20's and 30's.

This was the only pic I could find. If you notice to the right how dark it is and how bad it looks

Also, LSU recently replaced all the broken windows and remodeled the north End zone which looks great, but they didn't remodel the parts of the lower bowl underneath the upperdecks. It looks terrible.

All windows have been replaced across the stadium minus the south end zone

The end of last football season

I think you're mistaken because I took this pic the Friday before we played UF this year

Eta: I'm pretty sure this is the area you're talking about

The fundraiser for the remaining window replacement started two years ago, right after the north end zone windows were completely funded.

Gotta hand it to Alleva, he's been pretty methodical at improving LSU's athletic facilities across the board.

Tiger stadium was a pretty sweet experience, I liked it a lot that atmosphere is tough to match. I think Kyle is pretty awesome too atmosphere wise. Wasn't the nicest by any means but that will obviously change in 2015. The Nebraska game at Kyle in 2010 was the loudest I've ever heard a stadium. (Close night games are always ridiculous). I'm sure id been to a night game at Death Valley I would've returned home deaf. I hear Auburn's gets pretty crazy too. Either way, I'm obviously biased about Kyle but this girl seems to agree with me.
