MSU. Quaysus will anchor the best DL in the nation. Rock solid LB corp. Johnthan Banks will be All-American and the rest of the secondary will be almost as good.

Ellis Johnson says thanks for the credit. Seriously South Carolina was no where near the top until he got there. (sorry cock fans) He only had one slip up year and that was 2010 with Auburn twice on the schedule, which that year wasn't going to help your resume with them twice on the schedule.

What? LOL. Johnson could never figure out the wildcat. See McFadden's stats against us and 2009 Bama game.

That being said, the players play the game and make the plays and this year our defense will be pretty darn good. Clowney will live up to the hype and Victor Hampton will be the next corner in NFL from DBU. Coach Ward is just as capable as Johnson of putting the talent we have in the right positions to make plays.

I gotta go with Lsu, maybe Ga over Bama's until I see how the secondary gels. The SEC should have 3 top ten defenses this year. Maybe 4 if SC can bring it like some are expecting.

Trust me man, no one cares about Orson. He was about as relevant in our games as Caleb King.

Not really sure why UGA's defense is placed so highly.....the top 4 opponents on their schedule they played last season, they went 0-4 against, and averaged allowing around 40 points per game.

IMO, UGA's defensive efforts last season are dubious at best....

Did one single solitary Gamecock not rush for 100 yards all by his little lonesome....

in the 4th quarter ALONE...

against your monstrous defense last season??

When that game was on the line???

Kind of hard for our offense to score points when we keep having to kick the ball back to your offense...if you had let us try, instead of just letting our defense score all the points, maybe we might have done just that.

We scored 17 offensive points in the 2nd half. Lattimore scored a rushing TD with a little over 3 minutes left in the game, to put South Carolina up 38-35. That was against your vaunted defense! When Allen had his pick-6 in the 3rd qtr., and Ingram recovered the fumble in the 4th, USC was LEADING in the score both times. UGA fans don't want to talk about that.....they'd rather spin that those TO scores by USC were the reason why we won.

The Ingram score after the Clowney dismantling of Murray late in the game only sealed the lid shut.....it didn't win the game. The final, meaningless score by UGA to make a game look closer than it was, was all that was. It gave UGA fans something to spin about during the off-season, until the pre-season polls started up again....
