If you are talking about the College Station I was there back in the late 90s and early 2000s after the Army, I’d agree with you but that place has exploded since we joined the SEC. I’ve lived in numerous SEC towns, visited every other, and if we are talking towns, not stadiums, I’d rank them in this order:
1. Athens
2. Nashville ( a lot of family here so I’m always there)
3. Tuscaloosa
4. Knoxville
5. Oxford
6. Lexington, KY
7. College Station (obviously lived here while in school and a bit biased)
8. Fayetteville
9. Auburn (lived right near here)
10. Columbia, MO. (Live very near here)
11. Baton Rouge
12. Columbia, SC (Lived here)
13. Gainesville, FL (lived here)
13. Starkville

UT is the undisputed champion of throwing trash on the field. At least they have that. It’s not quite “champions of life” but it’s better than nothing I guess. Maybe they should print up cups. That way they can celebrate their championship and have another thing to throw when UK and Vandy kick the Vols fat rear ends

I like the city of Lexington and Nashville is always fun. Don’t care for Coward Station, Auburn or Columbia ( both of them) at all

Coward Station? Odd moniker for a college town that puts so many of us into the military. Seems like a weak flex

I don’t know why somebody would downvote my completely accurate statement, A&M puts a lot of folks into the military, including me and three generations of my family into the military

Had family in Opelika, so I spent a lot of time there, lived there with family while my Dad was deployed. My Dad was a battalion commander at Fort Jackson when I was in High School so I went to high school in Columbia, SC, Richland Northeast. I lived in Gainesville after the Army from 2007 till 2019 working for the VA. And now live about an hour south of Mizzou, first came here for a job with the Army on Fort Leonard Wood, but now work for USGS

This is a laughable statement, guessing you are a t shirt fan that can’t afford to travel beyond his trailer park

I have generations of family in the military as well who served without an aggy degree. Also many who have have served the community in many different areas that have had a positive impact on keeping our infrastructure and grids going.

I respect our military, but I also respect those who keep my lights on, my water running, my phones working, etc. Many workers put their lives at risk to make our lives more happy than we deserve.

Too many people out there who don’t get credit for their contributions and this is to let them know that they are appreciated by me.
