Arkansas's campus does not follow the traditional red brick architecture most of the other schools follow.

While Old Main is the red brick proto-type, the rest of the campus has always seemed to be to be a bit disjointed.

There are some very old buildings that use a granite facade. Then you have part of the school which are modern yellow-brick. A lot of that I believe is inspired by Fay Jones from the Architecture school. He was a disciple of Frank Lloyd Wright and his influence is evident on campus.

You sound a little envious, certainly more emotional than this topic deserves.

Because there are more LSU fans here.

Hey sport, I never said Alabama had the prettiest campus. I've only been to 5 and I don't even think Bamas is the prettiest of the five that I've seen in person. It's third of the five I've seen. LSU's was the first that I saw of the 5. I thought it was very nice, but since seeing other campuses LSU is very underwhelming in comparison.

Which 5 have you been to? The only campus I'd possibly rank above LSU's in UGA, and that's mostly due to the fact that Athens is such an awesome little city. Tuscaloosa, much like Gainesville, is a shithole of a city in my opinion.

Bryant-Denny is a very nice, new (compared to many) stadium. It has all of the bells and whistles. However, I've NEVER seen it ranked on any list of college football stadiums in terms of it being an intimidating venue for visiting teams. To me, that is the most important factor.

It's bigger than Tiger Stadium, it's prettier-looking, but Death Valley is a classic whose reputation has preceeded it for decades. B-D has a long way to go to catch up.

Tiger stadium has never been that intimidating to Bama, overall. In case you haven't noticed.

To be fair, Alabama didn't play its biggest games in BDS until 2000.

I don't understand your comments on Tuscaloosa. Sure, its not Athens, but I promise its about to improve a lot over the next decade. Mayor Walt Maddox is really working hard to improve Tuscaloosa.

I've been to UGA, Arky, OM, LSU, and Bama.

I rank those five:

1. Arky
2. UGA
3. Bama
4. OM
5. LSU

When I read the statement he made, I knew some Alabama fan would say this. It was just a matter of time

I was speaking in broader terms. Alabama doesn't equal all of college football, despite what you Gumps may think.

It's your opinion, and you're entitled to it. I'd rank them somewhat differently.

1. LSU
2. UGA
3. Arkansas
4. Alabama
5. Ole Miss (was not impressed at all)

Are you ranking facilities (all sports), football facilities or the campuses?

I know it's all subjective and opinionated, but this just completely boggles my mind.

Then you need to speak more detailed and clearly.

I agree with you here. We're much greater than all of college football.

I was ranking the overall campus, in response to the Bammer who said LSU's was ugly.

LSU's campus is not ugly by any stretch, but putting Arkansas ahead of Alabama, relative to campuses, is way off in my opinion. If we're going based on campus overall, I have to rank them like this:

1. Georgia
2. Ole Miss
3. Alabama
4. LSU
5. Auburn

No, you mean I need to learn Gump-speak, but I think I'll pass. Exactly how does one speak "more detailed" anyway?
