Their schedule is too easy for him to lose enough games to get canned.

So losing to an 0-2 Iowa State team who got raped by NDSU isn't enough? Sounds like Slocum

In the last 20 years hog farming has moved away from the small independent farmers to big business with huge industrial like hog farms. Used to be very common for corn farmers in Iowa to raise hogs on the side, not anymore

yea that's pretty much the story for all farming from what I can tell, we used to have 7 family farms in my close extended family, now we have 3.

Would Iowa even want him? That would be a huge downgrade wouldn't it?

Iowa fan base tired of Ferentz long ago. Yesterday's loss to Iowa State has made it exponentially worse. But his contract was recently extended and he has a prohibitive buyout. I think Iowa is a place that Bert could go and do relatively well, by Iowa standards.

Not sure how anything is a downgrade from Ferentz at this point.

Never has a college football program paid so much for mediocrity. Unbelievably, Kirk Ferentz is one of the highest paid coaches in college football.

Iowa fans don't want him

They are warming up to the idea.
