If anything, Bert overachieved last season.

Freeze took over a 2-10 team and went 7-6. He must be a miracle worker compared to Bert.

What did y'all lose after that 2-10 season?

Our starting quarterback, running back, several offensive linemen and a few multi-year starters off defense. Not to mention we only had 56 scholarship players.

Houston left a stacked cupboard at OM, he was changing offenses and was about to turn the corner at OM.

They just needed to give Nutt more time.

Bolden and Sowell have both started games. How many has Tyler Wilson started?

Why you getting defensive. Im just trying to see what type of talent Freeze had to work with.

Nope, just wondering what type of player Freeze had to work with?

He had some young talent with Moncrief, CJ Johnson, Jeff Scott and Bo Wallace coming in at quarterback. Outside of those four we expected to be horrible everywhere else.

Freeze did inherit some players he's been able to use as a base to add too through recruiting.

We know a thing or two about replacing Nutt, Petrino played the most freshmen in the country doing so his first year, the number was 16 (IIRC), well CBB played 22 freshmen last season (IIRC), numbers maybe be a little off but CBB played more than Petrino for sure, I really do not feel like digging up the threads discussing the actual number.

I like how Bret called out Muschamp today.

Very clever.

UF beat Arky with a backup QB and 60ish players dressed out.

If I remember correctly we lost like 50% of our 2011 & 2012 class, not much to work with. Freeze did a good job winning 7 games.

He did?

Wait, he didn't.

I like how everyone thinks Bert is talking about them or their team when he isn't, its highly entertaining.

Lol it seemed pretty obvious to me..

Watch his press conference and listen to the Q & A. I'm paraphrasing here but "I'm not going to change what I fundamentally believe in because we had a bad season, it's not like I'm going to just start running a hurry up no huddle system or something like some other coaches"

I was disappointed because I'm one of few that doesn't get in on the Bret disrespect. I guess because UF went 4-8 and AR went 3-9, he feels like he can relate, and sticking with your philosophy makes sense to him. With UF, a change had to be made, back to back years in the 100's on O. To each his own, I suppose.

I don't understand why everyone thinks Bert is talking about them.
