Well I hope you're right, from what I've seen they seem to only accept 3.8+ students with a 2000 SAT (I'm currently 3.5, and yes a sophomore in high school).

Actually I have a friend who graduated last year and went to Auburn. Didn't make it in their band though as he played Bass Drum and percussion is extremely difficult to get into. For example, I go to a pretty shitty school with a surprisingly average marching band of about 90 people this year. We march with 4 Bass Drums. Auburn, with 400 people, marches 6.

Not anything too interesting. Something worth noting I suppose is that the drum major has sex on the bus after every game/competition

Will do. He actually made it to district honor band with me and a bald tuba girl, so it's not over yet.
