I remember 17-16 just like it were yesterday
I was washing my 1970 SS396 Nova and listening to the game. Seems like Bama played not to lose the game and did just that anyway.

Loved that car. My ride was a 1966 chevy II SS 396. The barn figured out just how slow Grant was getting off the punt. I believe we played Texas in a bowl and he got another one blocked there as well.

I was collecting money on my paper route that day and thought I had just heard the first ever replay done on radio.
