You can not lose by 20 to an Ed 0rgeron coached team plus another game and make the playoff.
A 20 point loss like that is what keeps UGA out. End of discussion

Yep. It's not the Bama loss that kills UGA, it's the 3 TD LSU loss.

This is about UGA and what is a bad loss that will keep them out. If it was a close game, it’s a little different. It wasn’t close. If the blow out was the only loss, it’s obviously different.

I hate that we even have this discussion...UGA should be left out because they essentially lost a game that should be a quarterfinal elimination....
UGA is not the same team they were against LSU...good teams get better through their body of work as the season progresses...we had our chance and we blew it...
The fact that we are relying on how subjectively bad or good a loss or win is earlier in the season..is the problem....create a system and take the opinions out of it.....Alabama won their division and then won their conference..they move forward...we do not...it's simple

My point is it’s not the SECCG loss, I keep hearing it’s the game last night, it’s not. If they beat LSU they were in no matter what happened last night.

Well, the game last night certainly finished us off, did it not? Had we won last night, do you think we would be in the playoffs?
You surely are not thinking we would have been left out had we won last night, are you?
Now, if your point is that we shouldn't have gotten beat by LSU, okay. But let's not act like Alabama did not get beaten by a 4 loss Auburn team last year.
And you don't know that we would have been in no matter what happened last night if we had beaten LSU. That is just a guess. A good guess, but a guess nonetheless.

Based on the current system you are correct...but it shouldn't be the reason we are left out....that should be because we lost to Bama in the conference championship.....
