Fans are stupid. The offense can’t really be worse than Satterfield’s and he’s a clear upgrade in the recruiting department. Beamer has done good things thus far, I don’t know why fans think he has no idea what he’s doing.

Sooo are we just assuming none of our competition will point to his horrific record as OC in the NFL as a reason to sway recruits?
Imagine if Clemson hired a guy who had Loggains’ track record. We’d be having a field day.
This is a HUGE gamble by Beamer. Just like Satterfield was.

And you think playcalling in the NFL translates to college? I’m just sick of fans of think they know shite. The Beamer hire was bad because he didn’t have experience…then he proves he has something but fans still won’t trust him to run the program. Fact is none of us know how to do what Beamer does. So acting like this is obviously a bad hire makes zero sense. Let it play out.

I think it does to some degree, yes. Why just ignore past evidence? I’m a fan of a team he’s called plays for before, and I distinctly remember it being uncreative, conservative, and largely unproductive every week - very similar to watching Satterfield offenses.

We have no choice but to let it play out, just like Gamecock fans had to with Satterfield.
And Muschamp.
And Roper.
And McClendon.
And Bobo.
I’m tired of having to rally behind extremely questionable hires when objectively better options were available.
Praying that Beamer knows what he’s doing in this instance and that it’s different this time around.

I’m not going to lie, I had no idea who “Dowell Loggains” was before this hire, but his name sounds like he would 100% suck arse. My phone keeps trying to autocorrect it and shite.

It obvious at this point, that Beamer values "culture" and "personality fits" first and foremost in his coaching staff hires. I'm I'm being 100% honest, from the little I've learned about leadership and organizations in my lifetime, I can understand that line of thinking.
Other than that, I don't know enough about the man to comment intelligently. I do know that when it comes to football, Beamer is smarter than I am, so I've got to trust him.

Point is Beamer has delivered so far. There’s a section of the fanbase that have questioned everything he’s done. So yes, I have more faith in Beamer than random fans blowing off steam on an anonymous platform.
