I personally don't give a shite about Mardis Gras. BDS is a better facility than Tiger Stadium and Alabama is better than LSU.

I've been there quite a bit, and I like it just fine as a state. I just find is a little ignorant of your friend to pretend it is somehow superior to any other southern state.

personal preference =/= ignorant. especially when the majority of unbiased southern residents (i.e. - those with no connection to Alabama or Louisiana) would prefer to live in La.

What does Mardis Gras have to do with BDS? New Orleans can have Mardis Gras. Baton Rouge can have LSU. I'll be more than happy to settle for the better stadium and the defending national champions.
