What percentage of Bama/LSU fans will be at the game. What was it like at the 2007 game when LSU played Ohio State? I'm gonna guess that it'll be 60% LSU and 40% Bama. If the game was in Pasadena, Miami, or Arizona it would be probably be 50/50. (Each team is alloted around 20,000 tickets each btw). Bama fans travel as well as any fan base in the country but this one's in LSU's back yard.

It's not about travel. It's about ticket allocation outside of each school's allotment. Favors LSU.

60/40 LSU IMO

80/20 Bama outside the dome.

What do you mean by saying LSU fans know to stay out of the quarter?

Lsu will have a 60-40 advantage. Maybe a little more. The ticket allotment for both schools combined only makes up about half of the total tickets. The rest go to the corporate seats and such. I suspect lsu will have significantly more fans in those seats.

Lsu fans know where to hang out all around new orleans. A lot of lsu fans like uptown. There will be a ton more bama fans in the quarter before the game. But after will be a different story.

Most LSU fans realize there are much, much better places to drink and enjoy oneself than spending time waiting in line for $6 beers and terrible arse hand grenades. Most also realize that there are better places to eat outside of the area. Bama fans will be the majority in the days leading up to the game around the quarter.

60/40...maybe 55/45

no matter how ya slice it, LSU fans have more access to the non-school tickets. Actually, many LSU fans already own the non-school tickets.

it was 65-35 or 60-40 in 2007 vs Ohio State, and about the same in 2003 vs Oklahoma.

2007 Purple and Gold seemed to be in the 75% range

I don't buy the whole hometeam advantage though.

OU and Boise St should have everyone knowing better than that.
