Agree....but people always use crime as a reason not to travel to/vist NOLA.

Right but I don't know why you went on and on about Memphis then you if believe that.

I would never pick Memphis to be a place that I live but have some family there that live on the outskirts and we always have a good time. Great places to get a drink in and around town, just got to know where to go like you said.

It’s definitely a good reason

For once I actually agree with Dan.

NOLA seems to have a high number of random attacks on innocent pedestrians in the street around tourist areas.

If you take crime out of the equation then....still NOLA >>>>>>> Memphis

Only since woke culture took over and I'd like to see the data where it's that much worse that cities of similar size.

But again....if you are smart you can go to places in NOLA where this won't happen...aka don't go to Bourbon St at midnight. Go to Bourbon St at like 3PM if you must go to Pat O's.

Nashville's pretty overrated as a tourist destination. It's for people who have pretty basic interests. Riding on pedal taverns, listening to shite country, overpriced hipster restaurants, etc. Not to mention its pedestrian infrastructure is arse so you're in trouble if you like to walk to everything. That city really needs light rail.

I don't think anyone would or is arguing that, Memphis isn't the best place in Tennessee anyway.

NO is much more interesting than Memphis. If I'm a tourist, I like both.

If we're talking places to live in then both cities are among the worst in the country. The three big cities downstream on the Mississippi River are no bueno: St. Louis, Memphis, and New Orleans.
