Not sure why you are projecting your own overall hatred of people and life off on others.

i'm pretty sure Saban had no idea he was going to start a true freshman roll out qb before the SC game. I just turned out that way

I think what happened is that Hurts had a good game vs USC, and is a good running QB so Kiffin and Saban rolled with it. Barnett then transfers and when it became apparent that Hurts couldn't read defenses and was very inconsistent in the intermediate and long passing game, there was no one to turn to except Bateman. As previously noted, if Barnett (Barnett's Dad) had been patient, he probably would have gotten another chance, but it's a moot point now and Tagovailoa may be better than any of them.

I feel like I read this story every offseason: Player transfers for more PT, Saban calls him a quitter, everyone melts. He should understand than these kids only have 4 years to play and if their position is locked up and they have any desire to showcase what they can do for pro scouts, then transferring is many times the only way to facilitate that. And at a school like Alabama, where the 3 deep is all elite talent, I can totally understand a player being self-aware enough to understand what his role is at one school and choose go somewhere where he will have a better opportunity to play a bigger role. So Saban expected 2 upperclassmen to just stick it out on the bench while a true freshman was chosen as the starter? I guess their dreams of playing in the NFL aren't as important as Saban's desire to have quality depth at QB.

I don't think there was any frustration with Bateman or Cornwell waiting until year-end, just Barnett and the timing.

Sure, but generally people (quality people) attempt to not up and leave in the middle of a big project, client or busy time.
Again, transferring is fine. Totally fine. It's reasonable to be irritated by transferring after 4 games, both because of the problems it creates but also because I don't think he was clearly done at Alabama. If he'd given it the entire season he may have ever re-taken the job. But he freaked out and was in Arizona before anyone blinked, and that chance was gone.
