Those teams were all expected to be national contenders. Tony VOLS was picked 4th in his own division and nearly pulled off a miracle run to Omaha.
A&M was picked 6th in its own division and won 9 SEC games last year. Look where Auburn was picked. Either Thompson or Schloss is a far better choice than Vitello. But by all means keep lying (or as Sidewalk pointed out, bargaining) if it helps you cope with the devastating loss to ND at your band box with a rug.

Two true freshmen and a Sun Belt transfer sophomore in the weekend rotation and many of Serrano’s unheralded recruits in the starting lineup and the man almost made it all the way to Omaha. Preseason #34 by one publication iirc. Just phenomenal.
Very impressive and to have the retards of tRant perpetually obsessed………just phenomenal stuff.

Guess they voted on this before the Supers? How good was his coaching there?

A consolation prize at least the season wasn't a total failure

This should be a nice consolation prize

Should have been Jim Schlossnagle. Now that man did a coaching job. Took a team that was expected to finish last in the division, struggled early in the season, then took every SEC series but two, and one of those teams, Auburn, is also in the CWS, cruised through regionals and has his team in the CWS. Tennessee didn’t sweep Auburn, didn’t play A&M, didn’t play Arkansas.

Is winning 57 games and nearly clawing his way to Omaha with a weekend rotation that had 0 career SEC starts entering the year the greatest coaching job in modern college baseball?

I’m assuming vol30 is just being sarcastic. Or he’s a moron - never can tell. I’d go with A&M or Auburn coach

I agree Vitello won "Choke" of the year. It was entertaining
