Damn, this sounds just like how some of our fans were trying to defend morris. Wait til he gets recruits, bert's players bringing the team down, year five will be great, etc.....
Good luck with that. If you aren't seeing ANY improvement in year two then you're in for a long unpleasant ride.
Once again, look at your schedule and wins and losses this year and you can see your coach is actually losing ground no matter how year five is looking to you. Facts.

Pittman hit the transfer portal hard. Why couldn’t Drunktitz?
When Drinkwitz get to close up the talents gap between Arkansas and Mizzou then it will be a much better competition. I guess you think Talents just grows on its own? Look around at some other top programs? They are in need to build the program and it takes more than 2 years and that is why I am looking forward to the next year and beyond!
How many can drink bring from the portal? Not enough to replace many on the team. That isn't Drinkwitz way. Mizzou will be fine next year and the future.

I'm still waiting for an answer here. I know Missouri fans are recently minted recruiting experts, so I'm sure they can tell me who recruited the only player that kept them from a 2 win season

Odom got some good players but he hasn't recruited more talents to be able to put them at every position. That is why Drinkwitz has been at a disadvantage in the overall talents gap. It will take a couple of good recruiting classes and then put them all on the field at the same time to have a chance to compete at the same level against top SEC teams. Again you act like a few good recruits is okay but to compete against top SEC teams you need good talents at every postion. Then you need good back ups and depth. That isn't happening with the roster Drinkwitz got right now. It will be after a couple of good recruiting classes. I say next year should see an improvement and the following year should be even better. That is called building a good football program.

Tell that to Vandy! Vandy is just a little bit bellow Mizzou! Mizzou is way behind the 12th place team in the SEC! If the total average * rating is showing Vandy is 14th in the SEC and Mizzou 13th not by a lot. So, you expect Drinkwitz to let go many of Odom players and go mostly to the portal?! You got to be kidding me! No way Drinkwitz will do that. He did get some from portal but not going to do more than half of the team roster to get better players to fit his system. That isn't going to work for Drinkwitz. He is doing fine and building the football program the right way and no need to kick any players that were Odoms and replaced them with 4* and 5* players that each team is also wanted get a player or two. Alabama did and so did Georgia and just about everyone did. You wopuld think it would be that easy to get them all to go to Mizzou? That is why get some from portal and the rest from high school recruits. So far, he is doing great! Give it another class or two after this one to get most of them on the field at the same time. This is what most HCs do. Drinkwitz and Mizzou fans are not in any hurry to get 4* and 5* players all on the field at the same time. It takes 3 to 5 years to build the program. If you think Mizzou doesn't need to do that way, then yu and the other Arkansas fans know nothing about building up a good football program with 4* and 5* and some good 3* players.
Plus, this coming recruiting class is the best ever at Mizzou! Mizzou never had more than 2 4* recruits at any recruiting classes over the years. This is new to Mizzou to have six 4* recruits and one 5* recruit in one recruiting class. How do you explain Mizzou is ranked number 15 in the recruiting class for this year so far?
Mizzou doesn't need to be blue blood to recruits 4* and 5* players and being ranked in the top 15 so far this year. The AD hired Drinkwitz that can recruit 5* and 4* players out of high school and is a very good HC.
